Insufficient privileges

I received no PM and I am wondering why I do not have sufficient privileges to reply in the following thread:

I would like to know why. In that thread, several people called me vulgar names but I never replied in kind so I am puzzled.

I've been posting there all day and don't recall you saying anything untoward, but sometimes if a mod is taking a look into a thread due to reports, no one can get in for a bit.
You might try again in a little while?
That is the standard message whenever a thread has been closed, either temporarily or forever.
