Keep in mind *grazing* feeds aren't meant to represent the cost of feed. The ranchers OWN the feed. The grazing fees are nominal costs attached to the land itself but in no way do they represent nor were they ever based on the cost of what resources they use. The *grazing fee* is a fixed amount per cow. It's to rent the space, not the feed. It isn't determined by fed yahoos based on what they think a cow's hay costs. It's determined locally by the state or the county.

What happens is the BLM has moved in and started destroying the resources, destroying property, and leveling illegal and unconstitutional fines and fees against the ranchers..that they have absolutely no authority to level. The BLM came into its illegal and unconstitutional existence long after the ranchers were granted their land rights. They cannot seize authority that the locals do not give them.

The Bundys opted not to give them the authority, and the BLM and the feds thought they could kill them for it.

They were wrong.
