India and Russia are going to hold a fun little naval exercise with each other.

MOSCOW, July 11. /ITAR-TASS/. India’s Navy ships will arrive in Vladivostok on July 14 to take part in the Indra-2014 naval exercises, the spokesman to Russia’s Pacific Fleet has said.

“India’s ships - the Ranvijay guided missile destroyer, the Shivalik frigate and the Shakti supply vessels - will arrive in Vladivostok on Monday for the Indra-2014 exercises,” the fleet’s spokesman, Captain I Rank Roman Martov told ITAR-TASS on Friday.

Russia’s cruiser Varyag, the Admiral Vinogradov large anti-submarine destroyer, the Peresvet amphibious warfare ship and support vessels will take part in the manoeuvres, Martov said.

The exercises will be aimed at training and promoting joint actions at sea, he said.
