In another thread, some are criticizing Pay Day Loans as predatory and usury interest on The Poor.
Well, what about Income Taxes. The combined marginal rates for Federal and State income taxes exceed 50% in certain jurisdictions (medieval serfs revolted when taxes exceeded 30%).
These income taxes are really just the government collecting "interest" on the value of a person's life (measured by their livelihood).
Now That's Predatory and Usury.
