In response to the Fort Lauderdale shootings, guns do not kill people, people kill people.

At this time we should think of the victims, those who lost their lives we hope they are in Our Lord's arms and those who are in surgery, we hope they come through this.

Unbelievable. The emotionalizing cycle is repeated to be followed by another round of shooting. Cigarettes don't kill people, people kill themselves. Drug's doesn't kill, people kill themselves. The gun ownership element of the constitution is overly outdated. A citizens army armed with mere firearms cannot resist a tyrannical Federal government with today's armaments. A constitutional trap costing lives.
Such attacks in Europe kill only one or two or none, the assailants can't get high-powered weapons. So they resort to trucks running over crowds. Limiting access to guns makes such attacks logistically more difficult. And limit the kill rate.
