Gillespie did more than mention Trump. He tried to articulate Trump's positions and it flopped big time. The thing is that the Democrat candidate did not have Clinton's baggage. The result was a strong turnout of blacks and women who went heavily for Democrats. Had Stewart won, it would have been worst.

Saw a poll, couple of years ago, (no link) which asked a general question about imposing term limits in order to clear out the House and Senate of career politicians. The majority of responders agreed with term limits. When asked about their own US Representative and/or Senators, they were less inclined to support term limits for them.

The consensus was - I want to keep my politicians, you just need to get rid of yours. The poll also addressed the near universally abysmal approval ratings for Congress - again, the general consensus, " I like mine, but yours stinks."

It depends on where you live in FL. Coming from. Tx, no income tax either, we pay less for electric, local taxes, etc. here. The property taxes are high to us where we are, but we still find overall it is below where we were living in Tx, which was decent.
