I'm being sued by North Carolina for not paying state taxes in 2000. Apparently I should have paid in $4,000 but since I didn't, with penalties and interest, it's up to $7,000. The only problem is, I didn't live in NC in the year 2000, and it's up to me to prove it. Joy, oh joy!! Shouldn't THEY have to prove I lived HERE?? Why should I have to go through all the trouble of trying to find something that they feel is acceptible proof?
