I'm assuming cons stayed up all night to watch Kevin McCarthy's 8.5 hour speech

King trip is another option (called Chinook here) They're a bit tastier. Higher in oil content and if cooked just right SUPER tender and flavorful. Nothing wrong with Silvers - They'd probably be second on my list. I think the King trips are full day and a bit more expensive. Will check it out! Usually go out of Depoe Bay.

When I was in Montana running sales appointments about 20 years ago, my final appointment was in Missoula. Heading south back toward Idaho, that highway had a gorgeous river running alongside. Brought my fishing pole, saw some guys fishing in a real accessible, slow moving section and headed down. Caught a REALLY nice rainbow on a spinner in less than an hour (3.5 pounds my guess). Cleaned it and picked up some ice for the trip back to Boise.

I didn't have a Montana fishing license (only Idaho) and honestly didn't think about it. Prolly lucky I wasn't busted.

Pretty sure that was the Bitterroot. Does that sound right?

bitterroot-river-18-lead.jpg

Yeah, that's the Bitterroot. Ive fished pretty close to that picture there. Also, it branches off to the west fork of the Bitterroot which takes you up to painted rocks lake. Theres some excellent fishing up in there. 3.5 pounds?! That's a nice now!

Agreed. McCarthy's speech was distracted by the row of masks behind him...I'll give the guy on the end 1/2 credit for when he took his mask off for a short time. Why republicans follow these stupid rules of masking is beyond me.
Looks like Nancy has a whole bunch more fines to dish out. She's entitled to make that rule and enforce it.

Kevin McCarthy is a pussy...he is no match for Pelosi....we need a leader with balls as big as Nancy's....we need one that is not afraid to walk the fine line of legality like the dems do....or we will continue to lose....
Some want to appoint Trumpy Bear as Speaker if Dems lose the House. How about you?
That would certainly be entertaining

Sheesh, I took a picture of that fish and have it in a shoebox somewhere. Will try to find for ya one of these days. Had a guy fishing nearby take a picture of us with the old school 35mm camera and actual film. Damn thing was fat n sassy (also tasty). Looked about like this!

Yes, but did he read Green Eggs and Ham?

Ramming their stupidity through is usually how scum Dems do it.

Republicans who voted against the bill are already taking credit for it in their districts.

Yes I know what a filibuster is. Kevin was obviously trying to delay the vote. Remember Cancun Ted's filibuster several years ago in which he read Green Eggs and Ham?

Well, Kevin's was even dumber than that (if you can imagine ;-)

When Repubs return to power we will see if he is a RINO or not as Speaker if elected to that position. Boehner and Ryan were good friends to the Progs as they could have done much more. This second Bill needs to be stopped by the Senate.

Now give the general population an expanded tax cut. Instead we play specific group politics. And the one we have that is to run out in 2025 will be probably be made permanent for the peasants and we will thank them so much for their compassion.

Yep, socialism in baby steps. Biden is the head idiot in charge of the idiots.

Again if a Dimbo filibuster’s it’s due to grave national importance, in the event a Republican should replicate the act it’s somehow different? Do you people even think before you jump into the abyss of hypocrisy? Explains why they say and do what they do without thinking.
