YCSO Arrests Illegal Immigrant Who Fired at Deputy
Monday, November 7, 2011
Cordes Lake, Arizona -- Martin Rodriguez-Barrera, 19, an illegal alien from Mexico was a very bad boy on Sunday 11/06/11 because he shot at the police and hit homes with bullets with people inside them and he was in possession of evil drugs and 2 pistols and ran from police.
He is charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, discharge of a firearm at a residence, prohibited possession, possession of a deadly weapon, and possession of drugs/paraphernalia and alter/remove physical evidence.
The Yavapai County Sheriffs Office, (YCSO) was called by a citizen on Sunday a.m. Deputies were dispersed to the residence. The home owner reported that an illegal alien was in their yard pacing like a wild cat and dying of thirst. The illegal alien was demanding water and his actions worried them to the point where they called the police.
The illegal alien Martin Rodriguez-Barrera was still in the home owners backyard when the police showed up. They instructed him through a negotiator to come forward. Instead he took off like a bat out of Hell in true illegal alien style. He dropped $1,600.00 in cash and a packet of methamphetamine. The police later found a pistol and a packet of cocaine that he had also dropped.
The police ran after him and thats when Rodrigues Barrera fired a shot at the deputies. Of course the deputies didnt take this too lightly and the chase was on. Rodriquez-Barrera fired more shots at the police about 10 minutes later luckily no was hit. The Sheriffs Office put the local school on lock down and they sought out the illegal alien with outstanding determination.
Around high noon the police saw Rodriguez-Barrera trying to ditch them. He ran on to a home owners property and hid in a shed. By this time a SWAT team was on the scene and tried to coats him to come out of the shed to no avail. The illegal alien wasnt budging so they shot in some nice canned gas. The illegal alien still refused to come out so the SWAT team went in. They found our little illegal hiding in the roof rafters of the shed.
The SWAT guys pulled him down and found another handgun and Rodriguez-Barrera admitted to possessing both guns.
Deputies were able to find the round he fired, which struck a home's deck railing, hitting the front door's trim and ricocheted back across the porch where the bullet was recovered. A family of four was inside the house watching television, seated a few feet from where the bullet hit the door trim.
A check will be done to see if the 2 guns were a part of the Fast and Furious program. That program was conducted under the Obama administration and is accused of selling guns and deadly assault rifles that ended up in Mexican drug dealers hands. The weapons have been linked to murders of Americans by their serial numbers.
