That's the federal law, as passed during the Carter regime. Immigrants don't get a pass on this, regardless if they are documented or not.

Failure to register is a crime, those Illegals who fail to do so are serious felons liable for up to 5 years in the clink.

The fact that this is a crime is a factor that should be taken into consideration when making the decision as to whether or not to let them stay as "dreamers"

But how can we be sure that this law will be different than all the rest? Will it be enforced or will it be like our election laws or our FISA Laws or our national security laws or many others? If we would have been enforcing our laws for the last 20 years, the subject of term limits would be a moot point.

Excellent choice of when to use the word 'moot'. Moot means debatable.
