With nearly two-thirds of illegal aliens lacking a high school degree, the primary reason they create a fiscal deficit is their low education levels and resulting low incomes and tax payments, not their legal status or heavy use of most social services.

Households headed by illegal aliens imposed more than $26.3 billion in costs on the federal government in 2002 and paid only $16 billion in taxes, creating a net fiscal deficit of almost $10.4 billion, or $2,700 per illegal household.

Among the largest costs are Medicaid ($2.5 billion); treatment for the uninsured ($2.2 billion); food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches ($1.9 billion); the federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); and federal aid to schools ($1.4 billion).

I might add that there were 8 million illegal aliens in the United States in 2002.

    IN 2005
The number of illegal immigrants in the United States may be as high as 20 million people, more than double the official 9 million people estimated by the Census Bureau. 1/3/05

How does everyone like paying CHILD SUPPORT for children of illegal alien foreign nationals from foreign countries?

I say we cut off Foreign Aid to those countries since their people are already here being fed, housed and clothed.

We need to cut off any Federal funding to any cities or states that harbor illegal aliens and while were at take away any Federal funding and tax breaks to churches and non-profit organizations that are harboring illegal aliens. This Anti-American crud has to STOP!

The illegal aliens can come the right way or don't come at all! It's not fair to the immigrants that have come the legal way.

New immigrants that legally migrate to American fill out proper paper work, pay fees and wait in line for their turn to become an American citizen. Why should we let a bunch of border jumpers cut in line and ruin our economy!

Smile, you’ve just adopted an illegal alien family. It’s like paying CHILD SUPPORT for an illegal alien's entire family and their Anchor baby!

    EXCERPT:

    Page 1.

Public benefits are provided to illegal aliens for the use of eligible
individuals. This is most likely to occur when an illegal alien parent not eligible for aid receives benefits on behalf of his or her U.S. citizen child. A child born in the United States to an illegal alien obtains U.S. citizenship at birth regardless of the parent’s immigration status and, as any other citizen in need, may receive welfare and other benefits. When such a child receives assistance, the aid also helps support the child’s family, raising concerns
about the use of public assistance by those illegally in the United States.

I think it's pretty clear that illegals are collecting welfare when Obama's own Aunt who has been ordered deported is living in public housing.

Dude, you are being nonsensical. You say their heavy use of social services is not the primary reason they create a fiscal deficit then go on to point out the deficits created in programs that ARE the social infrastructure.

I think it's a matter of the poor education leading to the reliance on weflare systems that was the point.

My point is he contradicts himself. He blames poor education and specifically states that the burden on the social infrastructure is not a primary factor. He follows this by naming programs that ARE part and parcel to the social infrastructure that are the most affected.

The fact is, the overburdening of our social infrastructure is the PRIMARY cause of damage illegals do to this nation.

I'm be curious to know how many of you anti-illegal immigration types actually live in border states that are directly affected by illegal immigration. Anyone want to 'fess up?

The illegal aliens are coming over the border poorly educated and illegally entering the United States and breaking the laws.

I heard on CNN once, that 70% of illegal aliens have less than a 6th grade education. The illegals shouldn't have pets let alone children that the taxpayers end up paying for! They are no better than 3rd World people have kids they can't afford.

The illegal alien invasion affects everyone in America and it's the taxpayers who are footing the bills for them. The illegal aliens are everywhere in every state in the U.S. So, no matter what state you live in every American should be concerned and has full right to be concerned.

What will happen if the illegal aliens get Amnesty and then they get 51% of the vote simply by out breeding us? The United States will turn into Mexico and that's not a good thing!!!!!

Unless, everyone wants to live in 3 World status, I suggest we close the borders, deport illegal aliens and control our population and reserve our natural resources.

American taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for illegal aliens that are citizens of foreign nations illegally here breaking our laws. Why should we REWARD Lawbreakers???

We are nation of laws and everybody has to obey the laws even the precious illegal aliens!

Your posting style of responding to a question with more propaganda that doesn't answer it reminds me greatly of someone who used to post here.

My next question being are you actually interested in discussing the topic? or just acting as the Joseph Goebbels of the anti-immigration crowd?
