The UK already does business with Venezuela ... it has done, for years. One extremist Leftie, called Ken Livingstone (now just suspended from the UK's Labour Party on grounds of anti-semitism, for claiming Hitler was once a Zionist !!) arranged an oil deal directly with Hugo Chavez, when he was London's mayor - to help fuel London's bus network. To my knowledge, that agreement has never been revoked.
