Dude, it was called the War of Northern Aggression in the South at the START of the conflict! It was the rallying cry that mobilized the general public. What I "claimed" was that one of the contributing factors to the conflict between the North and South was tariffs imposed on the South by the North...something that had the United States Government sending warships to a southern harbor to militarily impose their will 30 years before the Civil War occurred! There is no question that slavery was the spark that ignited a powder keg but it was a situation that had been festering for decades before people like John Brown brought it to a head! I know this type of thing is too "nuanced" for someone with your pitiful knowledge of history, Joey...but there is more to the Civil War than JUST slavery!
