Ahhhh . . . . the joys of socialism, where everyone is gets an equal piece of the pie. It's unfortunate that the pie has shrivelled to the point where it's invisible.

Caracas – One of the many byproducts of Venezuela’s acute political and financial crisis is food truck looting, a pattern that is plaguing the country’s highways with chaos and fear.

Just last week, some 200 looters swarmed into an overturned tractor-trailer carrying canned juice — men, women and children were seen taking as many boxes of juice as they could, either by foot or on motorcycles.

Drivers and even emergency personnel just stood by, unaffected.

"The two Venezuelas" (Las dos Venezuelas), a catchphrase so commonly used here these days to describe the rift between the poor and the middle or upper class, were exposed in broad daylight for everyone to see: the looters and the citizens.

This time, looters refrained from attacking the grid-locked cars, something that has happened in the past, and they didn’t even take issue with the reporters covering the crash and the ensuing mayhem. “Here my man, take a can,” offered a young man, handing me a mangled can from the dozen he was carrying. “It’s apple flavor,” he said.

That happens when you do it wrong, as they have.

They're doing exactly what you and the rest of the leftwing turds in this forum advocate. Countless liberals in this country raved about Chavez and his revolution.

Seems it's "done wrong" rather frequently.

When is it ever done right?

When the Swedes do it, among others.
Sweden abandoned socialism because it led to a stagnant economy with no growth.
No Venezuela looks like it's finally run out of other people's money. Greece too. The legacy of being told everyone could have prosperity if we just take it from a few rich people at the top and give it to a lot of people at the bottom.

What is happening in Venezuela is nothing compared of what might / will happen in US when welfare and food stamps run out.

It's not going to be pretty.

Venezuela just needs more socialism, at some point socialism will work damn it they always stop short of enough that's why if fails. /sarcasm

just another day in an "Obamaland" type country.

The Valenzuela government needs to spend more money, but no Venezuelan money. If only Venezuela could loot the rest of South American, then socialism would work!

What I find hilarious is it wasn't that long ago they were going to gift low income people in the US with free heating oil.
