It's an 8 part drama mini-series, sort of in partnership with the BBC I think, but don't quote me on that.
Set in the future... human-like synthetics (robots) do most of the work. A few synthetics become self-conscious. It sounds like the usual, but the show is well done and really hits on some ethical issues that we're already beginning to grapple with in 2015.
Good show, so far. The first 2 episodes have played. You can see them On Demand, or on the AMC website I think. It's on Sunday nights.
I've also been taping and watching Wayward Pines. That's fairly good, you just have to ff thru a ton of commercials. I swear there's only 20 minutes of show in an hour of programming.
