answer is clear , Muscovy is a paper tiger

They're stalled running out of everything from band aids to aircover, to fuel, food, medical supplies and most importantly morale.

This was supposed to be over in a week with few losses if anything and they had to lie to their own troops about their purpose and mission when they were mobilized.

The commanders were not even allowed to tell the troops they were in Ukraine or what for until they made enemy contact.

They can filter the news through their Kremlin sponsored state media outlets but the troops in the field can see what a beating they are taking and how unprepared they were for this invasion.

What I love about this mess if there's any good to be found is that Russia finances their military largely through sales of arms.

Imagine what this is going to do to their arms export business when the whole world is seeing the "Might of the Russian Army" extends no further than the paper it's printed on.

For the last 30 years they've failed to even keep their armored units readiness to a level above about 50% at any given time and their aging fleets of vehicles are for the most part decades outdated.

Instead of modernizing and innovating they ignored all of that in favor of developing a few high tech toys to peddle around the world.

Yes they have some of the most advanced military tech on the planet, just not enough of it to be a deciding factor in even a small war like this was supposed to be.

They have lost so much equipment, wheeled, armored, fixed wing and rotary it is seriously crippling his overall capability and they have had to dig deep into their war stocks for ammo and ordnance none of which can they afford to replace.

If the Euro's stand true by keeping and intensifying sanctions while at the same time quickly weaning themselves off of Russian gas, Putin will not be able to afford to launch another invasion for more than a decade.

I say give the Ukrainians everything they need in unlimited amounts to keep up this fight until Putin is forced to withdraw and sue for peace.

Strategically and economically this is one of the biggest blunders in history.

I knew they were facing serious cutbacks in the navy, but I wasn't expecting it to be this great!
