I agree that the Heritage Foundation's plan/approach we refer to as "Obamacare: did nothing to resolve the issue. At that time, over 60% of the population favored single payer, but "the people" do not matter in america. Wall Street and the "job creator" class will decide for you.

The odds increase greatly that the Republicans lose the House in 2018. Republicans will be blamed for it and rightly so. Helping low income people buy insurance is one area of Obamacare that has strong support. Voters wart it fixed not destroyed.

But the problem isn't with the repeal. The repeal is all that should have been called for in the first place instead of always including a replacement caveat. Obamacare hooked a bunch of voters on more government crack and taking their crack from them will cost their vote. Repubs have been backed into this corner by democrat socialism. Gov crack.
The voters need to be weened off of this latest crack as the cold turkey approach will backfire.
