I have no problem with helping some people with a disability especially former military. But this does not belong in Social Security where it can hide out.
as far as 2 goes maybe we can find a middle. Currently it is at 40 credits which is only 10 years of contributing to receive benefits. I qualified at 28 so if I started working in a carrier where I did not contribute I would still qualify and I'm only 35. Maybe we could go to 80 credits or 20 years.
