We already know ( thanks to Wikileaks and people like Edward Snowden and Thomas Drake ) that NSA and CIA can hack into anything electronic, and target whoever they want without warrants. ( which means they've been doing it illegally since before 9/11)... See Durham report soon.

My home security system goes "Woof woof growl" a lot but other than that....

We have seven cameras outside and one that covers the living room and it also covers the two main points of ingress. Anyone who breaks in will have to go through the living room to get to the rest of the house.
Of course the alarm system would go off and most likely scare em off. Then we have the two four legged alarms as well.
The cameras are not connected to the internet

We have no cameras but we have a monitored system with all doors and windows alarmed, multiple motion sensors, glass break detectors in some areas, etc.

I have them outside my house and they are not connected to the internet. No one can see me through this system. But I saw this prossive pos early one morning. I didn't think scum could run that fast with their pants down over their ass.
