Major legislation has been passed by Congress because MOST people including Congress get so excited move to actions that AFFECT all 310 million Americans but really help less then 1% of the 310 million?

Two examples so you people that obviously have access to the facts should consider.

Q1) How many people at entry level jobs age between 16 to 19 years work at minimum wage which would be affected if the minimum wage increased?
A1) According to the http://www.bls.gov/cps/minwage2013.pdf source:
1) 797,000 people (0.257%) work at minimum wage and are between 16 to 19
2) 3.3 million work at minimum wage or 1.1% of Americans

So should ALL of us pay so less then 1.1% can lose their jobs due to automation?

Q2) Congress passed by ONLY 7 "yes" votes Obamacare because THEY thought there were 46 million "uninsured" which is what Obama told us!
YET According to Census:
1) 10 million were not citizens yet counted as uninsured.
2) 14 million were not enrolled in Medicaid because of Medicaid failures (LIKE the VA!!!)
3) 18 million under 34 years, make over $50,000 didn't want their employers' plans BUT counted as "uninsured"!
42 million should have been subtracted from the 46 million (Obama AFTER the bill passed agreed 10 million shouldn't have been counted!)

4 million or 1.3% of Americans is AFFECTING ALL Americans health care!

"We're seeing patients who probably should be seen at our (immediate-care centers)," said Lewis Perkins, the hospital's vice president of patient care and chief nursing officer. "And we're seeing this across the system."

That's just the opposite of what many people expected under Obamacare, particularly because one of the goals of health reform was to reduce pressure on emergency rooms by expanding Medicaid and giving poor people better access to primary care.
More patients flocking to emergency rooms under Obamacare

So why are we as a country so anxious to CHANGE all our life styles for less then 1% of our population?
If that's ok with you then you are just not smart enough to know the cumulative COSTS that are going to affect YOU!

Of course BOTH problems I gave examples of are EASILY solved WITHOUT government interference!

But ignorant people like you have NO idea do you?
