Not much of a concession in the big picture, however, should the radical American left seize total control over our government, postmodernism and Islam will eventually meet in the middle somewhere and quickly destroy each other. I'm not joining the-sky-is-falling attitude on this ruling. The only problem I see of the courts not relying on federal or state laws is what I've read about the separate tax court where the Bill of Rights is pretty much tossed out the window. To a lessor extent a wee bit of that also goes on in the immigration court, where in rare case legal citizens have been deported due to lack of access to a lawyer.

The way I see it the courts already must rely on federal or state laws when handing down decisions, and the international/Sharia law part is extraneous and just as likely to open a can of worms. Especially on principles shared with Judeo-Christian based religions.

They do a lot of bizarre things in Oklahoma. Now they've taken to shooting up illegal immigrant children with BB guns.
