Couple threads in this, but not specifically HoD as a review.
We have watched all but the last two... it is a good show. But it is not GOT.
GOT had layers and layers of interesting characters. HoD characters are too 1 dimensional. Not much depth there.
The person who would be the most interesting, Daemon, is only a side character.
The other thing that is odd is the weird aging of characters. Daemon and Ser Cole looks exactly like they did in the first episode while everyone else looks appropriately aged. Not sure why they did this.
All in all it holds our interest, but lacks the depth and bang! of GOT.
