Now, he did once call it a recession. Now ed, try to concentrate. I know you have trouble doing so. But a recession is not as bad as a depression. And, Krugman now says that we are out of the recession. As do pretty much all economists.

Now, now ed. You are off of your meds for sure. Yes, indeed, Krugman has called a segment of what he calls the great republican recession a depression, for a short period. But more recently, and especially since the unemployment rate went below 8% he says it is a recession. He is making a point. And his point is simple. Austerity is a really, really bad idea. The economy needs stimulus, and it needs it badly to recover quickly.
If you could actually read, I would suggest you read his book. But a title is enough, I suspect, for your poor deranged mind.

I have given you two direct quotes from krugman saying that we were, but are not now, in a major recession. Now try to pay attention, ed. I know this is difficult. But again, depressions are much worse than recessions. And, krugman said we are no longer in a recession, which the CBO agrees with, as do almost all economists. The recession is over. We do, however, have an ongoing problem with unemployment. So it is only you, ed, ny poor mentally ill con tool. Just you who believes we are in a depression.
