Shock? Incredulity? Disbelief? Can the chief justice officer of the United States possibly claim that the law doesn't mean the same to every American? Isn't that the most basic tenet of our nation?

Attorney General Eric Holder maintained Tuesday that he has a “vast amount” of discretion in how the Justice Department prosecutes federal law.

Holder’s remarks, during testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, came in response to GOP accusations that he is flouting the law with his department’s positions on marijuana legalization, criminal sentencing and a contentious provision of the president’s signature healthcare law.

Does this reflect on the Obama administration's efforts to separate, inflame, and even stir up people in America into classes, races, and beliefs? You bet! If Congress remains as it is for the remainder of Obama's term in office, things will only get worse. The only way to stop it is at the ballot box for primaries and the general in November.

It's up to YOU to put a stop to this!

Discretion in how to carry our the law, sure. Ability to prioritize resources, absolutely. Ability to simply ignore the law because of political concerns? Welcome to a Banana Republic.
