HIllarious dreamed up the exit tax in response to Trump's tariffs on companies who leave and take our jobs. Every single CEO in the county was rolling on the floor laughing their asses off. Hey, Team, figure up what the break even time is, pack up shop, where out of here. We'll pay that one time tax and screw that 35% tax rate.
Trump wins, every CEO says, Hey Team, start repatriating our overseas cash and bring me a plan for future research and infrastructure. We're not going to pay residuals to America for eternity.
Obviously this is way over the heads of the Libtardos so I'll make it simple for them.
