Hillary leads polls by 27 points!

Clinton Sustains Huge Lead in Democratic Nomination Race

It sure looks like she has a lock on the nomination.

Poll from 2007. Not relevant to 2015/2016. You do understand the difference between the years 2007 and 2015, right?

Also from Gallup, a pollster that disgraced itself both in 2010 and 2012 and had to pay a multi-million dollar settlement out of court for having cooked the books.

This time, Hillary towers over the field of potential Democratic contenders by about 50 points, pretty similar to George H. W. Bush in the Republican primaries of 1988.

Any more stupid you want to pile on today?

Democrat contenders?

Who has even announced yet, I mean besides Raoul Castro

What Rabbid fails to mention is that Hillary only had 47% support in 2007. Obama and Edwards had about 20% each. At this point, all three were very strong contenders.

Then Edwards imploded and all his support went to Obama.

Now, there were a lot of reasons why Hillary lost the nomination in 2008.

1) Her support of the Iraq War - This was the most important issue to Democrats in 2008. They hated the Iraq War, hated Bush for getting us into it, and had no patience for Democrats who wouldn't outright say it was a mistake.

2) Democratic rules. Dirty little secret of 2008. Hillary actually got more votes than Obama in the Primaries. But the banning of Michigan and Florida's delegates for jumping lines in the process combined with Superdelegates supporting Obama put him over the top.

3) Clinton Fatigue. Democrats looked at Republicans dusting off Vince Foster and MOnica and all the other tired non-scandals and wondered if they wanted to go through that again.

4) Poor Organization- Hillary won most of the the Super Tuesday primaries, including CA and NY. But allocation rules still gave Obama half the delegates. Hillary had no organization post Super Tuesday and most of the later primaries were in red states she wasn't going to bother with, and Obama pretty much ran the board.

So, how does any of that play out in 2016.

Well - Iraq isn't an issue at this point. Probably being more hawkish helps Hillary.

No states are jumping the line, and she's lined up most of the super-delegates. She will probably make sure she has organization in every state in case this goes the distance.

So that only leaves Democrats might having reservations about how crazy the Republicans are going to get if she wins. Meh. Obama made them crazier than Clinton did, they are going to go crazy no matter who the Democrats pick up.

But more importantly, no one has anywhere near Obama's star power. Not O"Malley running to her left or Webb running to her right.

Translation: Soros and Al Aweed got their candidate the nomination in 2008 and it will be no different in 2016

uh, no, not really.

But I don't think if i explain it to you again you'd understand.

Simply put. Obama won because he was where the majority of his party and the country was at in 2008.

Period.

Obama was the guy who took the stand the Iraq War was a terrible idea in 2003, when that wasn't a popular position.

By 2008, everyone knew it was a bad idea, and he looked visionary for saying it first.

Obama won because he was black, that's all.

That must have left a mark on you. Here your party ran the best white guys money could buy and you all still got your asses kicked by the black guy.

That has really left a mark. Beaten by the black guy.

And now you are gonna be beaten by a woman.

I don't know if you all can recover from that.

Mc Cain and Romney wasn't our best. Did it hurt an inexperienced black man handed poor Hillary her ass to her? Hillary doesn't have a chance. Keep up your support though.

So that's why the GOP refuses to nominate one?

obama won The General Election because The American People want and deserve a Health Care system that covers everybody.

It was only forty years late. And Republicans couldn't get their shit together enough to provide a cogent Plan.

I'm telling you -- I'm right. The American People have wanted a mandatory plan for decades and it seemed like only dimocraps could get it done.(complicated, but dimocraps were NOT the good guys in this shit)

Even though National Health has always been a Republican idea. From Teddy Roosevelt to Richard Milhouse Nixon.

But we couldn't get our shit together long enough to get it pushed through over the dimocrap wishes to make it a socialist system

the Lying Cocksucker in Chief promised to model ours after the Swiss System, which is an EXCELLENT Plan.

He did and........... he didn't. dimocraps are like the Scorpion and the Frog, they just can't help being what they are.

If we want to win in 2016, our candidates better learn to SHUT THE FUCK UP on the ACA.

Many, many, many Republicans are Self-employed small business owners who NEED Health Insurance and couldn't get an affordable, viable plan until lately.

The Republican Candidate needs to run on FIXING the ACA or we're gonna lose.

Just that fucking simple.
