A slew of top cybersecurity officials are exiting the FBI, despite the ongoing threat of attacks to the country's digital infrastructure from foreign adversaries, according to a report.

Scott Smith, the FBI's Cyber Division assistant director, is leaving his post in July, and his deputy, Howard Marshall, has already departed for the private sector, per the Wall Street Journal.

David Resch, the FBI's Criminal, Cyber, Response, and Services Branch executive assistant director, is also stepping down, even though he was only appointed by FBI Director Christoper Wray in April.

Carl Ghattas, the FBI's National Security Branch executive assistant director, and Jeffrey Tricoli, the senior official who co-lead FBI foreign influence task force, are departing for corporate jobs...

5.) Likely To Be Dismissed, The DNC Destroyed The Evidence

First off, that third party vendor was Crowdstrike, employed by Perkins Coie, the same law firm that tasked Fusion GPS to commission the Steele Dossier. The DNC is alleging in federal court that crimes were committed on its servers, they never let the FBI investigate and they deleted the operating systems on all the affected computers, totaling 180, decommissioned 140 servers and “rebuilt” 11 servers. As Bloomberg wrote, "The suit is unlikely to survive a motion to dismiss, in part because the tangled conspiracy theory it presents is not (to use law-speak) properly pleaded, and in part, because much of the complaint’s substance consists of what lawyers call conclusory allegations." So they have a weak case, with evidence long destroyed, a have opened themselves up to having better lawyers than theirs expose their darkest secrets. This could be fun.

Donald J. Trump‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump Apr 20

Just heard the Campaign was sued by the Obstructionist Democrats. This can be good news in that we will now counter for the DNC Server that they refused to give to the FBI, the Debbie Wasserman Schultz Servers and Documents held by the Pakistani mystery man and Clinton Emails.

Strange how the DNC didn’t turn over its physical servers because they were still using these same computers. Maybe or maybe not the FBI had later acquired an imaging analysis from the DNC hire Crowdstrike. Former FBI Director James Comey said he wanted direct access to the DNC servers for purposes of accessing the DNC network — and the DNC turned the FBI down.

The transcript of Comey's testimony, with Senator Richard Burr (R-NC), confirming this is as follows:

BURR: And the FBI, in this case, unlike other cases that you might investigate — did you ever have access to the actual hardware that was hacked? Or did you have to rely on a third party to provide you the data that they had collected?

COMEY: In the case of the DNC, and, I believe, the DCCC, but I’m sure the DNC, we did not have access to the devices themselves. We got relevant forensic information from a private party, a high-class entity, that had done the work. But we didn’t get direct access.

BURR: But no content?

COMEY: Correct.

HEY sane people- DRINK VODKA and do not be traumatized by the ever present corruption of the Democrat party and their lunatic deep state!
That's right. Pay no attention to the real evidence that Mueller has already that obviously lead to these indictments, that the Trump traitors could care less about; New Cambridge Analytica revelations connect Trump Russia dots

Covering for Trump's ass, while all this evidence comes together. What a bunch of unpatriotic cowards, covering for a known criminal.

NSA and CIA Hacked Enrique Peña Nieto before the 2012 Election
As Americans came to grips with the fact that Russia had hacked Democrats to influence last year’s election, many people forgot that the US does the same. And it’s not even just in the bad old days of Allen Dulles. The Snowden documents revealed that NSA and CIA hacked Enrique Peña Nieto in the weeks before he was elected in 2012. The big difference is we don’t know what our spooks did with that information.

While the DOJ document is full of detailed accusations; which has given the narrative engineers a great deal of fuel; there’s a specific aspect missing. The entire indictment (full pdf below) is based on the premise of the FBI conducting some -unexplained and unsubstantiated- form of forensic data-analysis to formulate their detailed conclusions.

However, can anyone explain how this FBI forensic data-analysis was possible when the FBI was never allowed access to the DCCC, DNC and Clinton Campaign servers?

Anyone?…. Anyone? Rosenstein Delivers Indictments For 12 Russians – Then Buries in Lock-box of DOJ National Security Division…

Obviously the server was not central to the investigation as your dopey narrative suggests.

LACK OF EVIDENCE for both the investigation and the lawsuit!

YES! Once again it is time the Senate interviews a few more relevant people. Time to call Crowdstrike back in since they never showed up the first time. It is time to force some investigations and house raids on top DNC rank for DNC collusion reporting!

Is it over everyone's head that Hillary campaign hired Crowdstrike who had Shawn Henry look at DNC computers and Henry was an FBI agent who worked for Mueller? reread my posts!
So, you're saying that the FBI did indeed have one of it's own look at the servers?

Read the indictments, loser.

Your server strawman is irrelevant.
