Went to an outdoor Tiki Bar this afternoon. They had a Rock and Roll cover band with the musicians being in their 50s and 60s
I would think the audience would be in their 50s, 60s and 70s...Aging hippies

Yet, over half the audience was in their 20s and 30s

As the band played Beatles, Stones, Zepplin and Bowie I was amazed as the the younger members of the audience danced and sang along with songs that came out 50 years ago. I thought....this song came out 30 years before you were born

I was in high school in the 70's. I would have laughed if I went some place that was playing music from the 20s or 30s

Yet, today's kids dig Rock and Roll

Rock and Roll will go down with classical music as ageless

The majority of classic rock was created in a ten year period between 1965-1975

It is iconic
