I think it is hilarious that you think you can apply human terms of "fairness" to wildlife.

A formation of a pack needs no justified. It is an advantage to the animals in the pack. That is all the justification required.

But the pack is at a distinct advantage because of increased ability to hunt, the ability to hunt bigger animals, the ability to feed the older members of the pack, ease in protecting the young and raising them, and in maintaining their teritory.

A more likely history is that we have evolved in Darwinian terms or close to them. But there is separate evidence that we have been visited and "tampered with" -- and as many as five times . There is little to no actual scientific evidence to suggest that humanity has origins in heaven, the heavens, or in any heavenly place.

The Bible tells us there are such places, but you won't find it in science. All we can do is infer creation or evolution. BTW, we haven't found one microbe anywhere besides Earth yet. Have they found it on the moon or Mars. One microbe. That's not hard is it lol?
