Hell they could use normal airplanes to do the same thing Both have humans controlling them within the same fashion. Only difference is where the human is; one within the cockpit and the other within a building.

If you're talking about purely A.I robot. Now that is a whole different animal....I think a lot of good could come out of such robots but just be careful with what you do with such.
