I actually celebrate Pi every day at 3:14 inspired by 4:20 :)

Again it seems. Puzzled over that looking at spaceweather earlier this AM. Maybe it's a leap year thing? :)

Happy pi day !

I'm actually very glad there are reasons that a physical circle can't have a circumference/diameter ratio of exactly pi (Heisenburg being another one) because I'm kinda with Pythagorus on being completely wigged out by the concept of irrationality. As a pure mathematical abstraction it's cool. But as a physical reality it makes my head all hurty.

(Of course, quantum mechanics and general relativity make my head all extrasuperhurty, so that doesn't necessarily help me...)
