OTOH people starved for food and medicine are much more likely to take and use the stuff, and once some of them did, others would quickly follow.

You want to break the Hamas' hold over the hearts and minds of the people of Gaza?

Give the people some organization other than HAMAS that helps them get through their daily lives.

Remember that Hamas has been, in addition to the organization funding terrorists, the only fuctional organization providing social services to the people of that prison.

Of COURSE the people have to support Hamas.

Failing to do so would leave them targeted by HAMAS thugs at worst, or out of the loop for social services help at best.

When your choices are vote for Hamas, the only organization which can keep you and yours alive, or expose yourself to the outcome of seeming NOT to support them, who would YOU vote for?

The treatment of the Palestinians by the Jews, finally ignited enough anger in the Arab world for Egypt, Jordan and Syria to mobilize on Israel’s borders. All of these three countries are suddenly attacked by Israel and as a result the Sinai which included Gaza is stolen from Egypt, and the West Bank and the Jordan River stolen from Jordan. As a result of this, on June 8th, the Israelis launch an attack on the U.S.S. Liberty with Israeli aircraft and motor torpedo boats, in an effort to blame it on Egypt, to bring America into the war on their side, and of course follow to the letter, their Mossad motto, “By Way Of Deception, Thou Shalt Do War.”

As a result of their attack, 34 American servicemen are killed and 174 wounded. Israel lies as usual, claiming it mistook this warship that was flying a large United States flag, for an ancient out-of-service Egyptian horse carrier El Quseir, that is incidentally 180 feet shorter. They also claim the ship was in the war zone, when it was actually in international waters, far from any fighting. The Israelis’ attack on this warship lasts for seventy-five minutes during which time they shoot up one of the United States flags, resulting in the sailors desperately raising another one. The Israelis’ also machine gun the lifeboats the Americans deploy in order to prevent them escaping, yet another war crime. In the aftermath of this attack, the American sailors who survived are warned by the United States military not to discuss the matter with anyone due to, “national security,” a term which when translated into plain English, means, “Jewish Security.” A naval tribunal is set up to investigate the incident but it is not allowed to investigate whether the attack was deliberate, a subject which is left off their remit, and United States Senators and Congressman are warned not to raise this subject for fear of inciting anti-Semitism. The story of course receives no prominence in the controlled mainstream media and as usual Israel is in no way even rebuked for their crimes by their subservient country of America.

The day after this attack, June 9th, Israel illegally occupied the Golan Heights which it seizes from Syria. This area goes on to provide Israel with one third of its fresh water. Israeli General Matityahu Peled, is quoted in Ha'aretz (March 19th 1972) with the following statement,
“The thesis that the danger of genocide was hanging over us in June 1967 and that Israel was fighting for its physical existence is only bluff, which was born and developed after the war.”

Hamas on Monday raids some 100 aid trucks that Isreal had allowed into Gaza, stole their contents and sold them to the highest bidders.

The IDF said that since terminal activity is coordinated with UNRWA and the Red Cross, Israel could do nothing to prevent such raids, Israel Radio reported.

Between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the army had ceased all military activity in Gaza and once again established a "humanitarian corridor" to help facilitate the transfer of the supplies.

The Kerem Shalom and Karni crossings had been opened to allow in the aid trucks.

Actually, the "Palestinians" before 1967. Between 1948-1967, there were no freedom movements to free Gaza and the West Bank from Egypt and Jordan. The people who lived in Gaza were Egyptians and the people who lived in the West Bank were Jordanians. It wasn't until Egypt, Syria and Jordan were about to surprise attack Israel, which Israel won, that Israel won those lands from war. Not stolen. Won. Just like the US won this land from the British Empire in war. Guess I don't see you in here blasting those pesky colonists about stealing land from the Brits! Go call Gordon Brown or even Queen Elizabeth! Go tell them how we stole this land! Or how Poland stole land from Germany! Do you have any idea how much land Russia has "stolen" in war?
