I guess they figure it's all over, they've won. They're probably right:

I don't think Israel is going to stand by and let them get off scot-free now right?

Far too many hunter/killer gunships out there ready for orders to blow one of these bastards to kingdom come...

They'll try to fight back, the UN will condemn them, Europe will continue funding them, and the US is withdrawing-not announced, just reality.

I wonder if Hamas and co. won't over play their hand here...

Just as Arafat did in 2000....

I mean, to be honest, with the exception of the Jenin fiasco, Sharon was able to play Israel's hand pretty well....

You should definitely read "The Sling & The Stone", the guiding book about 4th Generation Warfare, it has two really good chapters on "Infitada 1" (which the Palis won) and "Infitada 2" (which Israel ultimately won).

It enabled to view Israel's strength and leadership in a different light that was more positive, nevertheless backed by facts.

Hamas has to spin this withdrawal as a victory becuase they couldn't accomplish it after YEARS of military effort and needs to refocus on the west bank and Jeruselem to give themselves some semblance of a group of people who are helping Palestinians.
If they don't so this they will appear to be the band of obstructionist haters and killers that they are.

I think these so-called Palestinians are World-class dopes.

Israel has just succeeded in separating the Arabs and Jews, and they're building a fence. They have given the Arabs something to to call their own; therefore, they are tied to its defense. No longer are they intermingled in other Nations' populations.

Now, when Israel reataliates against Palestine, they kill Palestinians.
