RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- The Hamas Movement said Tuesday that Mahmoud Abbas's security militias kidnapped more than 30 people of its cadres in the West Bank last night, warning of the repercussions of such escalation.

They stated in a press release that Abbas's militias kidnapped the 30 Hamas members after many of them received night phone calls telling them to go immediately to Abbas's intelligence office for questioning.

After interrogation, Abbas's militias stormed and ransacked the homes of some of them, and confiscated their personal belongings such as cell phones and computer sets.

Good job. That's 30 fewer religious thugs on the street. That means people are safer.

Abbas'a militias arrest people who have broken no law and without court issued warrants. They are held indefinitely without charge. They are denied legal council and speedy trials. The militias disregard court rulings. They torture people and several have been tortured to death. All this is in violation of their constitution.

You must have a strange definition of safer.
