I'm not ready to connect the dots here, but.....there are a lot of similarities between the Green Nazis prior to WWII and the "fanatics" that that wallow in the environmental movement of today.

But the hardcore environmentalists who had found their champion in the person of Adolf Hitler were soon to be disappointed. By the end of the 1930s, with a World War imminent, Hitler abandoned most of the environmental pretexts he had used to trick the masses, hook, line and sinker, replacing it with a war-ethos of sacrifice for the greater good and ‘lebensraum’. If only a pretext, the entire environmental thing was an excellent beta test for measuring the tolerance of the Germans in regards to the propaganda efforts of Goebbels which had indeed proven to be extremely effective. Not long after, Germany was plunged into a war that finally led to her complete dismemberment.
It will not be necessary to further point out the many similarities to our own time, where any and every environmental ‘good intention’ is hijacked by the elite for the advancement of its own objectives. It is true; most environmentalists love collectivism and are prepared to marry almost every regime that claims to work for a clean and green environment. That makes this group extremely susceptible to the arguments of tyrants.

The Libertarian National Socialist Green Party (LNSGP) is an American organization that cites the National Socialist German Workers Party as its primary ideological inspiration, while also incorporating elements of Libertarianism and the Green movement. It has not been established whether LNSGP has any activity or existence other than through the website associated with the domain name nazi.org.

Identified associates of the LNSGP include Craig Smith and Robert Lindstrom, whose opinions are published on the site, and Bill White, who presented himself to national media as a spokesperson for the party website.

I'm just pointing out that the environmental movement has everything to do with politics and not just trying to clean up the environment. It comes down to redistribution of wealth between countries and not about actually cleaning up the environment.

There has been a saying in Europe for decades now... "Green is Red".

Common sense of keeping our nation clean is simple common sense. ;)

If you ever want to learn how I'll show you Matthew. I've been a conservationist for decades. I toy with those that brand themselveves environmentatlists. They are a bad joke to me.

Get hold of me any time you want to start walking the walk instead of talking the talk on boards.

I'll call you on that, Dancer. Just how do you title yourself a conservationist when you support policies that would destroy what we have left of nature? We are changing the world very rapidly, habitat loss is the primary cause of the present loss of wildlife. Habitat loss from agriculture, urbanization of previous wild areas, and a climate changing to rapidly for the wildlife to adjust.

The asthma epidemic in the industrial nations is a product of the burning of coal and other fossil fuels. The increase in the amount of heavy metals found in our bodies is another such product.

You 'Conservatives' always state how you are such good Conservationists, then support every policy that would create a much dirtier world.

From what I've read....you liberals just took it out of the nazi playbook of the 1030's and ran with it. Nothing new and the same ol', same ol'.

Hypocrit....you work in a polluting steel mill. It's been fined for emitting too much pollution and yet, you get paid a wage for working there.

Glad I caught this. :eusa_angel: My specialty because you can't save the whole world after all but one zero in and pick one cause that actually makes a difference. Not pie in the sky end of the world bullshit that some rich fat ass like Gore loves to spew.

I'm a clean water activist. Have been for decades. When I was really young and was divorcing my first husband, a good friend of mine gave me a job at his store called the Beaver Head in TO.

I used to clean bear claws and sell porcupine quill baskets for a living. No guff  Boy it sounds weird to type that out now. And this is in downtown Toronto. My friend Al ran a trading post. I was able to bring my daughter to work with me instead of putting her in daycare. Not a glamorous job like working at Le Chateau, but this way I could have her with me.

I digress. Back to water. Have you ever heard of mercury poisoning and what it does? Let me tell you about a place called Grassy Narrows.

Way before the media picked up on what was happening, elders that would come to the Beaver Head were telling us horrific stories about what was happening up there. Yeah they shut down the mills in 1970 but the full effects of the mercury poisoning hadn't even begun to show the monstrous effects on the peoples.

I became a water warrior and have never looked back.

Oh and btw, I have lived my life accordingly to my beliefs. I'm not some teenager in a basement in their parents home ordering pizza on a Friday night and thinking I'm a fucking champ because I recycle my pizza box
