GAZA, (PIC)-- A Greek delegation currently visiting the Gaza Strip has said that Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation jails were freedom fighters and not terrorists.
Members of the delegation of the Greek teachers association and other institutions were speaking during a meeting with the higher national committee to support prisoners on Sunday.
Ibrahim Al-Abadla, the head of the Greek society catering for children, said that his society was trying to prioritize the issue of those prisoners, adding that his society championed including subjects on suffering and sacrifices of those prisoners in the curriculums of private schools in Greece.
He said that Palestinian prisoners are not "terrorists" but were rather defending their country and freedom, adding that all honorable people of the world should know this fact.
