The real question is who told Lindsey Graham to publicly push for a federal abortion ban in the middle of a close election

The American people support a womans right to choose by overwhelming margins. This is a defining issue that started the beginning of the end for forced birthers.

What a politically moronic thing to do.

If the right really cared about the outcome here, they would shut up immediately. The right made a massive gain against abortion with the SCOTUS ruling for something that was absolutely impossible to pass through legislation even without Roe as it is not popular at all.

And now he wants to trumpet that for a bill that has exactly zero chance to do anything. This is cutting your nose off to spite your face.

What is perfectly possible and is a possible outcome from parading this all over the place would be the democrats responding with another bill further enshrining abortion rights. MUCH more likely than passing any abortion restrictions.

Gee, do you consider refusing life-saving medical treatment to an infant struggling to survive outside the womb after a failed abortion 'extreme'?
