GAZA, (PIC)-- The government in Gaza announced Tuesday it would distribute a million dollars in aid to 16,000 poverty-stricken families in the Gaza Strip so they can prepare for the month of Ramadan.
In a press statement, the government said following a weekly meeting that Prime Minister Ismail Haneyya has tasked the Ministry of Social Affairs to lay out a plan to aid and support needy families in Ramadan. He said the government would cooperate with related organizations to ensure that aid is distributed to the most possible of eligible recipients.
