GOP Allen West: Mysogynist!

"I shall defend myself forthright against your heinous characterless behavior……which dates back to the disgusting protest you ordered at my campaign hqs, October 2010 in Deerfield Beach. You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, shall not be afforded due respect from me!" West responded.

Now for a definition..........

Sounds like West hates women.

I think she hates black men.

.

Sounds like West hates women.

When I was younger, I was kicked off my brand new bike by a young black kid....and he stole it
I hated him.

So I guess I must be a racist...i hate black people?

Does it feel better now that you've let that hate out in public? :eusa_whistle:

wait...

I just realized something.....

When I ws in high school, during a playoff football game, I was tackled by the DB after a long run....and before I got up he stomped on my hand with his cleats and brioke 4 fingers. Knocked me out of the season and got him kicked off his team for the remainder of the season.
He was white.
that was an important game...and i had some college recruiters watching.
I hated him for what he did.

So I guess I hate white people as well?

Telling her she's not a lady is misogynist?

This from the most foul mouthed woman attacker on the board...funny except it's so weird.

And he still sounds better than you discussing Palin

please indicate what exactly the misogynist statement is.

No one can.
It was not an indication of his hatred for women.
It was obvioulsy an indication of his hatred for a congressperson.....who happened to be a women.

Republican Allen West decided to go on an attack against a woman just because he disagreed with what she said..........

Actually she went on the attack first and he responded, but let's not let facts get in the way of your partisanship. Both of them are adults and elected representatives of this nation. They should be capable of letting this kind of stuff roll of their backs like water.

Which is it for the teabagger Allen West? Is he scared of Ms. Wassermann-Schultz, or is it because he genuinely hates women?

Is Wassermann-Schultz scared of West, or is it because she genuinely hates black people?

"Look, Debbie, I understand that after I departed the House floor you directed your floor speech comments directly towards me. Let me make myself perfectly clear, you want a personal fight, I am happy to oblige," West wrote, per ABC News. "You are the most vile, unprofessional and despicable member of the U.S. House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up. Focus on your own congressional district!"

West sent the email to Wasserman Schultz and copied several House leaders, including Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy.

"From this time forward, understand that I shall defend myself forthright against your heinous characterless behavior," West wrote. "You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, (you) shall not be afforded due respect from me!"

West's office did not dispute the authenticity of the e-mail. A spokesman for West said in a statement to reporters that Wasserman Schultz's behavior was "unprofessional and cowardly."

^^^ What a freak show! :cuckoo:

Here is what Wasserman Schultz said:

Wasserman Schultz, who is chair of the Democratic National Committee, had taken to the House floor Tuesday to criticize the "cut, cap and balance" legislation that was ultimately approved by the GOP-led House, which she claimed would "end Medicare as we know it." While she did not mention West by name, she alluded to his support of the bill.

"The gentleman from Florida, who represents thousands of Medicare beneficiaries, as do I, is supportive of this plan that would increase costs for Medicare beneficiaries," she said of West. "Unbelievable from a member from South Florida."

no, I think he was referring to something else.

Still, it's not misognyist to hate a woman. It's misogynist to hate a woman BECAUSE she's a woman.

GayBiker is our #1 Misogynist, he should know that.

Republican Allen West decided to go on an attack against a woman just because he disagreed with what she said..........

Tea-party darling Allen West railed against Broward U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz in an email, calling her "vile and despicable” and suggesting, "you are not a Lady" after she picked apart a Republican budget-cutting plan Tuesday night on the House floor.

The subject line of the email: "Unprofessional and Inappropriate Sophomoric Behavior from Wasserman Schultz."

He went on to write:

"Look, Debbie, I understand that after I departed the House floor you directed your floor speech comments directly towards me. Let me make myself perfectly clear, you want a personal fight, I am happy to oblige. You are the most vile, unprofessional, and despicable member of the U.S. House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up. Focus on your own congressional district!" West wrote in his email.

West said Wasserman Schultz, the chair of the Democratic National Committee, had gone after him personally and suggested she had a vendetta dating back to a protest at his Broward County, Fla., headquarters.

West wrote the email after Wasserman Schultz said on the House floor that it was “unbelievable for a Member from South Florida" to support a plan that slashes Medicaid and Medicare “in favor of protecting tax breaks for Big Oil, millionaires, and companies who ship American jobs overseas." She never identified West by name.

"The gentleman from Florida, who represents thousands of Medicare beneficiaries, as do I, is supportive of this plan that would increase costs for Medicare beneficiaries. Unbelievable from a member from south Florida," Schultz said.

West had left the House floor at that point.

According to The Miami Herald, the West and Wasserman Schultz' staffs continued to spar even after the email.

"I don’t think that Congressman West is upset at the Congresswoman, but rather with the fact that she highlighted that he and other Republicans are once again trying to balance the budget on the backs of seniors, children and the middle class," Jonathan Beeton, Wasserman Schultz’s spokesman, told the Herald.

Allen West Trashes Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Interestingly enough, when someone from the other side says anything bad about Bachmann or Palin, we're immediately told that those who say bad things about those women are scared of them, or they're mysogynists.

Which is it for the teabagger Allen West? Is he scared of Ms. Wassermann-Schultz, or is it because he genuinely hates women?
Well the misogyny card didnt' take too long to get played.

I wonder if the same standard should be applied to those who call Michelle Bachmann batshit crazy with even less cause?

 I was thinking this guy West sounds like he would fit right in here...

:eusa_boohoo:

What was the reaction of NOW? Anything?

They never went to the defense of Palin...nor Bachmann....Bet they regret that seeing as there is no way they can rationalize going to the defense of Wasserman Shultz after ignoiring the other 2.

I don't know that I'd label him a woman hater but I am almost 100% positive that he would not have talked that way to a man.

:eusa_eh:

Who knows, but he definitely has anger issues... She was being professional and on topic and for some reason he took it personally and flipped out...

Allen West calls Wasserman Schultz
What's unbelievable is this drivel coming from the little shrew who voted to cut $500 million out of Medicare to pay for Obuttheadcare.

I 'spose if I'd done that, I'd want to distract from the fact by smearing someone else for what I myself had already supported.

Wasserman Schultz made a reasoned statement, wondering why West (who wasn't mentioned by name) would want to cut Medicare, especially when so many in his state are on it.

His attack was totally uncalled for.

She's not the one who created this big distraction by having a hissy fit and sending a mass email that was nasty and unprofessional. God forbid he support his position without making it personal...
