It's much worse then anyone realizes.
They are attached to your calendar among all things, their update snuck a sync button turn on and since it's hidden you might not catch it until after they had access through the sync for months before you notice it's on, and have you ever tried to turn off capture+ on your phone?
Note everytime you turn off permissions to everything Google accesses, it resorts back after you clear the play store cache which uses up a great deal of stored memory and is necessary to do.
