It was never Palestine. It was the British Mandate of Palestine. Palestinians aren't even a real people. They are mostly Jordanians and Egyptians.

Jordan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaThe precursor to modern Jordan was founded in 1921 as the Hashemite Emirate, and it was recognized by the League of Nations as a state under the British Mandate for Palestine in 1922 known as The Emirate of Transjordan. In 1946, Jordan became an independent sovereign state officially known as the Hashemite Kingdom of Transjordan. After capturing the West Bank area of Cisjordan during the 194849 war with Israel, Abdullah I took the title King of Jordan and Palestine, and he officially changed the country's name to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in April 1949.

Educate yourself a bit, your ignorance is shameful.
There is no "Israel's ancient land."
It has only been 64 years since Israel declared herself a nation.
And my Christian Bible says the land belongs to God.
Timeline of the name Palestine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The term Peleset (transliterated from hieroglyphs as P-r-s-t) is found in numerous Egyptian documents referring to a neighboring people or land starting from c.1150 BCE during the Twentieth dynasty of Egypt. The first mention is thought to be in texts of the temple at Medinet Habu which record a people called the Peleset among the Sea Peoples who invaded Egypt in Ramesses III's reign.[1] The Assyrians called the same region Palashtu or Pilistu, beginning with Adad-nirari III in the Nimrud Slab in c.800 BCE through to emperor Sargon II in his Annals approximately a century later.[2][3][4] Neither the Egyptian or Assyrian sources provided clear regional boundaries for the term.

Truthmatters,
400 years before Jesus was born, Greeks were writing about the land of Palestine.
Palestine was written about by Herodotus, the ancient Greek Historian, who lived from 484 BC through 425 BC.
Palestine was written about by Aristotle, by Philo the Jew, and by Plutarch, as well. And Palestine referred to the broad region which included Judea.
Aristotle wrote: Again if, as is fabled, there is a lake in Palestine, such that if you bind a man or beast and throw it in it floats and does not sink, this would bear out what we said. They say that this lake is so bitter and salty that no fish live in it and that if you soak clothes in it and shake them it cleans them. Meteorology II.3

The cartographer labeled a map of Israel in 1915 as "Palestine-1020 BC." A cartographer in 2012 would label a 1020 BC map of Persia as "Iran-1020 BC." Same difference.Filealestine 1020BC Smith 1915.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
