University professors have ALWAYS been required to conduct research and publish their findings. This is not something new or unique to climate science.

What we have here are a bunch of willfully ignorant boobs that are too fucking lazy to even do basic research. People like fat ass Limpbaugh make far more money than do college professors, and work far less. Keeping up with any discipline in science is a full time job, then doing research that expands that field is their overtime. And, in between, they teach students.
