Giants-Dodgers pre-game at AT&T

Tonight the Giants - Dodgers pre-game included a World Series Ring presentation to Juan Uribe, now a Dodger. On opening day a Giant fan was beaten by two thugs after the game in LA and he remains in a comma. After Uribe was greated by Giant fans with cheers, both teams met on the mound and two players, one from the Giants, one from the Dodgers spoke on the rivalry between the two teams and the need for calm.

Very classy indeed.

The guy in a coma was beaten by a fan, not a player. Just a whole lot of empty, feel good posturing from the MLB. And the stupid fans suck it right up.

I know that the MLB and the Dodgers in particular will pay for this guys medical treatment right? Even though the ticket you buy says that MLB isn't responsible for whatever happens to you in the stadium or parking lot, we know they care about us so they must be paying his medical bills right?

Can anyone provide a link to a story showing MLB, the Dodgers or Giants organizations doing just that?
