George lopez; where's the punch line?

GEORGE LOPEZ; WHERE'S THE PUNCH LINE?

I watched his HBO special in Austin, TX and did not break a grin. I guess you have to be Latino to find him funny. Kept waiting for the punchline and it never came, but at the end of the show when he walked off stage, I laughed my A** off. That must have been the punch line.

I have tried to watch his late night tv show a few times. I just can't...it's really awful. And I can laugh at the "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" so it ain't some intellectual bias.

He just isn't funny.

I think he used to be funny and has either run out of fresh material or has tried to add to his routine by going political. Works for some but not for others. Looks like in this case, he forgot what got him there.
