George Bush = Democrat (Fiscal Issues and WAR)!

If one still believes that the Demcorats and Republicans really stand for some political philosophy, then one is a damned fool.

If this economic meltdown hasn't alerted you to the fact that the pardigm of left and right liberal conservative is entirely artifical, I cannot imagine what will.

Of course this is a position which results form BOTH PARTIES BEING INFECTED BY THE IDEOLOGICAL LEFT...

Only this imbecile wants to ignore that FACT and declare that the problems to which she speaks ARE A RESULT OF LEFT-THINK... but that is what moderates do... which is why they're to be ridiculed, belittled and summarily REJECTED.

The embolded is where you and continue to part company, PU.

What you describe as ideoogical leftism has nothing whatever to do with socialism.

Nonsense... Redefining socialism so that it doesn't exist will not help you here...

Without regard to the particular strain of leftism which you need to cling to, it OPPOSSES capitalism and seeks to empower government... Even our in-house Anarcho-communist consistently advocates for policy which undermines the means of the individual to exercise their inalienable rights by advocating for faux 'rights of the collective'... and that which I contest opposses capitalism and promotes empowering the government, so it can impart faux rights of the collective...

Try again and harder this time. It would help if you wouldn't intentionally try to inaccurately redisgn my position to reflect that which you feel would be easier to contest.

Your problem is that you know essentially nothing of political economy. You pretend to be an expert on socialism, but you then define taxation and Keynesianism as "socialism," casting obvious doubt on your claims. You regularly commit the fairly common anti-socialist fallacy of defining public good provisions as "socialism," despite the fact that necessary conditions of socialism include public/collective ownership and egalitarian distribution of the means of production, conditions that do not exist even in Scandinavia.
