Um. I think I might be Jewish? Is Steinbach a jewish name?

I watched that tv show tonight and I thought what the hell..I will see if I can find anything. And boy, did I! Pics too! I just googled and went to places that don't charge to have a look see.
I think I took after my fathers side. I got back to 1700 on his side. Ma's side...1800's. Ancestor was naturalized in New Orleans when arriving soon after the boat docked there from somewhere called Hessen Darmstadt Germany? His wife..I think...was from Alsace France? Then that guys parents were born in Baden Badener Germany? Somethin' like that.. His mothers parents were from there. How the daughter got to there from France..is still unknown.

Anyway...I have a massive headache now.

I never cared about my ancestry

In fact i recently was approached by someone from my father's family who I never met about being included in the genealogy he was doing for the family tree.

I declined.
