Google glitch: Chat users complain messages are going to the wrong recipients - NY Daily News

Google fixes lengthy, widespread glitches | PCWorld

Watching Face The Nation, the moderator gave a lengthy speech about how private industry would never have these "glitches" and problems.

Then on the George Stephanopoulos talk show, Rand Paul went on endlessly about how "private industry" is sooooo much better than government and how they have a profit motive so they have to get it right.

Only they don't. How do right wingers explain that? The answer is, "they don't". They just attack.

My advice is to keep your eyes open and get the best deal you can get.

Isn't Face the Nation a liberal news show? Do you honestly expect liberals to understand how websites work? If they did, Sebelius wouldn't have said that Healthcare.gov had never crashed at the same moment a staffer had just gotten a message that the site had crashed.

That said, the major difference is that, when Amazon goes down, they don't brag about the fact that their site is down, they fix it. The Government, on the other hand, said the fact that the site is down is proof it works.

Every show that doesn't slam Obama and repeat the endless birther and Marxist bullshit is considered a "liberal" show.

In fact, science shows about the birth of stars and the history of the planet are considered "liberal" shows.

Anything not "nutty" is considered "liberal". It wasn't always like that. Republicans started NASA and built the interstate highway system. Now, they just want poor Americans to suffer.

Huh?

I might have if I had thought of it. But it would have been in the context of a "joke".

Then you Suck at comedy too...

Would never expect RDean to understand the diff between a "website" and the dynamic databases that they operate from.. But this is typical leftist behaviour. Blaming the inanimate object for the damage that the user causes.

This is akin to blaming Excel for screwing up the Pie Chart in your sales presentation.. Because YOU didn't know how to enter the command to sum the rows of data correctly...

It was a joke all right, except you thought it was science.

Because Amazon and the airline's websites are just "lists" of things. No business going on there. No one buying "stuff". Right?

Did I call that one or what ?? Whooooooshhh.. Right over his pointy little head..

Those website "accidents" you posted are largely DATABASE EDITING errors. The WEBSITES are fine.. And will work again TOMORROW if you restored the database and context information from the "day before" the accidents.

ObamaCare hasn't even GOTTEN CLOSE to separating the website issues from the database issues and the communications issues. Really looks like MONTHS to even get close to FULL SCALE testing and verification..

Rdeep have ever seen google or Amazon down for months at a time?
