FSU shooter: Alumni and Lawyer

Funny how the usual anti-gun types have avoided this topic.

Yes...it is hilarious....they want to bash gun owners but to do that they would have to comment on one of the protected minorities....they must be tying themselves into nots and pulling out their hair because they can't comment on this shooting....and too....there were no fatalities so they have no bodies to drag out in front of the cameras to condemn gun owners with.....

I wonder on the way to the library, he stopped by a store and stole a bag of skittles? Smacking the clerk on the way out. If he did, he is innocent, got to protect the thugs!

Three Florida State University students were shot and wounded inside the school's Strozier Library early Thursday morning by a gunman who was an alumni of the school and a lawyer, according to a law enforcement official.

The official said the shooter was Myron May -- who was killed by police -- graduated from Florida State before attending Texas Tech University's law school. The official requested anonymity because he was not authorized to release the name.

David Taunton, who runs a foster home in the Florida Panhandle, told FoxNews.com that May returned from Texas and asked if he could stay at a guest house in a rural area. Taunton, who knew May through his sons who ran track together in high school, agreed and let him stay in one for the past three weeks.

"He was a good a kid as it gets," he said.
Gunman who shot 3 at Florida State University was former student lawyer law enforcement official says Fox News

Apparently, an educated black kid.
Who is Myron May - FOX 13 News

Waiting now for the anti-gun loons to tell us how "reasonable" and/or "common sense" gun control could have stopped this.

Since the guy was hearing voices, was afraid the government was spying on him, etc., MAYBE AN ANNUAL PSYCHIATRIC EXAM FOR GUN HUMPERS WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA. Racist Piss Ants -- like those posting here -- would automatically be deemed mentally deficient.

Ah look -- an anti-gun loon, arguing from emotion ignorance, and/or dishonesty.
It's a "good idea" to force people to prove they pass some arbitrary mental test, every year. before they can exercise their rights?

You must have a different definition of "racist" as the rest of the world.

This fails as a straw man fallacy.

No one has ever maintained that a given gun law will comprehensively prevent all gun crimes.

And the Supreme Court has held that it is Constitutional for jurisdictions to place reasonable restrictions on the possession of firearms:

“Like most rights, the Second Amendmentright is not unlimited. It is not a right to keep and carry any weapon whatsoever in any manner whatsoever and for whatever purpose: For example, concealed weapons prohibitions have been upheld under the Amendment or state analogues. The Court’s opinion should not be taken to cast doubt on longstanding prohibitions on the possession of firearms by felons and the mentally ill, or laws forbidding the carrying of firearms in sensitive places such as schools and government buildings, or laws imposing conditions and qualifications on the commercial sale of arms.”

Good thing I didn't make that claim.
Failure: Yours.
