And the thread turns into a blame game right away. Can't say I'm surprised-people on here tend to not to able to articulate their points well enough to avoid such an event.
The reality of the situation is that we're in hard economics times-and regardless of what we do-it's going to piss some people off. We're going to need to raise taxes on some income brackets, and we're going to need to significantly cut back on spending as well. Just doing one will NOT solve our problems. Of course it sucks-but it's reality. And as long as we have cowards in office (both republicans and democrats) who care more about popularity, and doing what they think their base wants to hear-the more of the same old BS we're going to remain in.
