Florida is America's inflation hotspot because of a persistent problem with sky-high housing costs. The Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach area has the highest inflation rate of metro areas with more than 2.5 million residents, with a 9% inflation rate for the 12 months ended in April.

Good luck getting insurance on your home there now.

The inflation rate increase in Florida is due to increased housing costs.

People are demanding Housing, and the price is going up, as people escape the Hell Holes of New York and California.

The old sample and demand thing going on, skews.

But in spite of this recent increases, its still cheaper to get a home in Florida than New York City.

Who knew a state governed entirely by a thirst for revenge against civil liberties would run into problems

Yep...
The same thing is happening in the Texas Hill Country.
Californians are moving here in droves to escape the leftwing in California and they're driving up land prices.

Housing in Florida is always expensive. Has been forever because it's a vacation destination, has ocean coasts on both side, no real winters, and other reasons that make it a sought after place to live. Desire drives market value and in Florida market value determines rates.

Not to mention they have to make up somehow for the fact Florida does not tax personal income.

Florida has a governor who has the best chance of defeating Trump and then easily defeating Biden in the general election. Any wonder they're making up stories like this?

Meh, I suspect it's the same in every red state that blue state transplants are fleeing from.

Virginia has seen increases of 35% in some of the hotter markets the liberal transplants like.....Other markets are seeing slight increases over 2022 by around 3 - 4%.

Inflation is a national issue. Housing costs are determined by supply and demand and it seems that the demand exceeds the supply in Florida because north east democrats can't afford to live in NY.

Did not take many posts to bury your OP . Less silly party politicking and more DYOFR with some reality and truth thrown in for good measure. imo .

Meanwhile, little Trump candy-ass, wannabe is traveling the US, running for president.........LOL.
Wanting to make America........Floriduh.
DUHSantis doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of being president.

We've been telling you morons for a while now that a big part of the inflation we have been seeing since the end of Covid was from housing prices spiking and you ignored us.

Now you use it as an excuse in Florida.

Funny shit

I'm confused, I thought you guys said that is a good thing when people like living in an area so much in demand, that housing prices soar? Have you changed your mind?
